Introduction
The plate hook is made of multiple high-strength alloy steel plates cut, formed, heat-treated and laminated, riveted into a whole with refined rivets; each plate undergoes 100% ultrasonic inspection to ensure no internal defects. Compared with integrally forged hooks, the plate hook has a higher safety margin—even if individual plates crack, the remaining plates can still carry the load, avoiding sudden fracture accidents. Replaceable high-manganese steel or alloy steel bushings are inlaid inside the hook opening, requiring only bushing replacement after wear instead of overall scrapping. Widely used on cranes above 75t, it is a core load attachment in heavy equipment manufacturing, shipbuilding, metallurgical steelmaking and other fields.
Our Advantage
Multiple plates laminated and riveted; when one plate cracks or fails, the remaining plates still carry the load without sudden overall fracture, with safety factor ≥5 times, much higher than integrally forged hooks
Specially designed for lifting above 75t, load capacity flexibly adjusted by increasing plate quantity and thickness, reaching up to 500t and above, meeting ultra-heavy-load demands of heavy equipment, shipbuilding, metallurgy and more
Wear-resistant high-manganese steel or alloy steel bushings inlaid inside the hook opening; after wear, only bushings need replacement to restore use, avoiding overall scrapping and greatly reducing maintenance costs and downtime
Each plate undergoes 100% ultrasonic inspection and surface magnetic particle inspection; internal defects can be detected and rejected in advance, ensuring easier quality consistency than large forged hooks with high finished product rate.
High-strength low-alloy steel plates offer excellent low-temperature toughness and impact resistance, maintaining good mechanical properties even at -20°C, adapting to harsh conditions such as outdoor, severe cold and heavy-load impact.
