Introduction
The wire rope sling consists of high-strength wire rope (6×36WS, 6×37 structures, etc.) and end fittings. End methods include spliced (hand splicing), swaged (aluminum alloy or steel socket), and poured (babbitt alloy or resin socket), flexible, lightweight, moderately priced and widely applicable, suitable for bundling and lifting loads of various shapes. The chain sling consists of high-strength alloy chain (G80, G100 grade) and end fittings (master link, hooks, shackles, etc.). The chain 经过 heat treatment has high strength, wear resistance and high temperature resistance (can withstand 200°C~400°C), suitable for heavy-load, high-temperature and frequent lifting occasions. Both slings can be made into single-leg, 2-leg, 3-leg and 4-leg configurations, used with hooks, links, shackles, chain adjusters and other fittings; when in use, select appropriate sling specification and configuration according to load weight, shape and lifting angle, lifting angle generally not exceeding 60°, safety factor ≥5 times. Wire rope slings and chain slings are the two most commonly used flexible slings for cranes, widely used in heavy object lifting and bundling in machinery manufacturing, metallurgy, ports, construction, power, chemical and other industries, serving as indispensable basic slings in lifting operations.

Wire rope slings adopt high-strength wire rope with large breaking force, safety factor ≥5 times; chain slings adopt G80/G100 grade alloy chain, after heat treatment with high strength and good toughness, safety factor ≥4 times (chain)~5 times (wire rope); each sling undergoes breaking force test, with inspection certificate attached at delivery, ensuring safe heavy-load lifting.
Wire rope slings are flexible, lightweight, easy to handle, store and operate, moderately priced and widely applicable; spliced end method can be made and repaired on site, flexible in use; suitable for medium and small load frequent lifting occasions such as general machining, warehouses and construction sites, with high comprehensive economic benefit, serving as the most commonly used flexible sling type.
Chain slings adopt G80/G100 grade high-strength alloy chain, with strong load capacity, can withstand high temperature (200°C~400°C) and frequent bending, wear-resistant, impact-resistant and long service life; chain length is adjustable, with chain adjuster to precisely adjust each leg length, ensuring even force on multi-leg slings; suitable for high-temperature heavy-load occasions such as metallurgy, casting and forging, more durable than wire rope slings.
Wire rope sling end methods include spliced, swaged and poured; chain sling end fittings include master link, hooks, eye hooks, chain adjusters, shackles, etc., can be flexibly selected according to lifting method, load shape and usage habits; single-leg, 2-leg, 3-leg and 4-leg configurations optional, meeting different lifting angles and force requirements; can customize length, end method and configuration according to user needs, adapting to various lifting operation needs.
